During her 29 years as a certified/licensed massage therapist she has been confident and open about offering safe comforting touch to persons with Cancer, HIV/AIDS, ALS, MS, Parkinson’s, and other chronic health conditions. Vickie artfully combines with her compassionate touch her 27+ years of open-hearted counseling skills to craft a sacred space for her students to learn and grow. She is inclusive and deeply respects all communication and learning styles.

As an Oncology Massage instructor, she creates a safe and confidential environment for her students. Here her students can examine and move through their uncertainties of touching persons experiencing cancer. Her students leave the classes feeling confident. They also have the clinical and intuitive skills to work with cancer patients at any stage of the cancer journey. Vickie even brings a touch of healthy humor to a subject that is often considered extremely serious.

Although she has brought nurturing and compassionate touch to many lives, she is especially drawn to working with persons experiencing frail health, hospice patients, and others who are at end stage of life.
